United for Medical Research Cheers $3 Billion Funding for NIH in Omnibus Bill

“United for Medical Research thanks Chairmen Roy Blunt and Tom Cole and Ranking Members Patty Murray and Rosa DeLauro for their extraordinary work and unwavering leadership, which has resulted in a significant $3 billion boost in funding for NIH in the FY18 Omnibus. This increase, along with the major investments in past fiscal years for NIH, will continue to give patients hope and maintain our global competitiveness in biomedical research. We are grateful for their commitment and to all of the members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees for investing in the NIH and for making cures possible.”
